Selected Work.
The core of my work is the thinking behind the motion: developing concepts and principles that connect a brand's strategy and visual identity with the way it moves.
A curated selection of projects I’ve collaborated on, from recent work to key archive projects that remain defining moments in how I approach motion.
While each project varies in context and scope, they share a common thread: a deep focus on the thinking behind the work. They reflect an approach grounded in motion systems, brand behaviour, and the link between strategy and visual expression.
Simple and meaningful concepts that can generate distinctive visual patterns and evolve into coherent motion systems. Systems that give brands a distinctive way of moving, while remaining flexible enough to grow, adapt and work across different contexts.
The goal isn't simply to animate a brand or help it produce more content. It's to establish a conceptual framework in which motion becomes a meaningful part of the brand itself: a new layer of its identity, with its own character, logic and potential.
Making Top Gear’s Cog
an iconic symbol.
TOP GEAR
Agency - BBC Creative
Broadcast | Show Package
MY ROLE
R&D | Motion Theory & Motion System
Motion Lead | Toolkits
A motion identity built around the behaviour of Top Gear’s iconic cog, using shifts in its spinning axis to extend its influence across the system.
A collaboration with BBC Studios on the refresh of Top Gear’s identity system, centered around a finely retuned word mark and new monogram and design system that heores an optimized version of its iconic cog designed by Hello Muller.
I developed a set of motion principles that place the cog at the core of the visual language, as a graphic element and as the behavioural foundation of the entire system. This approach allows the brand to highlight its iconic symbol even when the cog itself is not explicitly visible
Inspired by the mechanics of the cog, the system operates as a dynamic and interconnected whole. Through shifts in perspective, motion flows seamlessly across assets, triggering chain reactions that link every element back to the cog, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand experience.

Branding
MY ROLE
R&D | Motion Design & Animation
Animation Lead
Rhythm, timing, and motion principles are explored to define how a brand moves before expanding it into a full motion language. Logos hold the space where foundational behaviors are established, aligning brand strategy with visual identity and ensuring coherence across the broader system.
A long term collaboration with Harry Pearce’s team at Pentagram during the John Lewis & Partners re-brand where I helped them to explore and bring to life the brand while exploring concepts from a motion perspective.
Logo animation is always a hero brand asset. Defining their core motion principles sets a framework to explore and define motion behaviours that can later expand into a complete system.
Logo animations bring the opportunity to tell a story and support the brand’s narrative. Even when they go unnoticed across everyday touch-points, they act as graphic metaphors, brand storytelling in its most distilled form, that can evolve into deeper motion languages and scale to shape the entire system.
A generative Toolkit
for assets at scale.
UAE NATIONAL ORCHESTRA
Agency - Slash UAE
Motion Identity | Generative toolkit
MY ROLE
R&D | Motion Theory & Principles
Motion Lead | Generative Toolkit
A generative tool that speeds up the brand and marketing team’s workflow to output "on-brand" background images at scale, both static and animated, across various expression levels and formats, keeping every touchpoint distinctive, dynamic and alive.
A dynamic graphic representation of a tapestry of cultures and musicians coming together to define the visual expression of The UAE National Orchestra.
I brought the brand mark to life and defined its motion theory. Inspired by musical scores, notation, and the physical gestures of performers and conductors, the motion principles directly connect the visual system with the brand’s narrative. The result is a time-flexible system designed to adapt to different moments, contexts, and formats.
Animation isn't the only way that motion can deliver value to a brand. On this project, motion was used to build an automated backgrounds generation toolkit inside After Effects, as well as to create other motion assets.

MY ROLE
R&D | Motion Theory & Motion System
Design | Animation Lead | Toolkits
The timeslice. A distinctive, unique and highly functional Motion System that expand and contract, work as a graphic device or holding footage, move fast, slow, horizontally and vertically. It can be triggered from every asset, it’s dynamic and fast-paced on screen. Eye-catching and ownable in print.
The Core idea of the Motion System integrates the Brand’s narrative into every asset, elevating ORF’s visual identity.
A motion system thought to tell stories while staying inside the visual universe of the Brand, from logo to endboards, social, match graphics or DOOH, it expands across every asse connecting the brand with every sport’s journey.
Every sport it’s a journey.
A journey about Effort, Adversity, Challenges, Ambition, Bravery, Success. Unfolding stories with uncertain endings.
We created a system that supports every sport, every athlete, every fan and every journey, to drive ORF’s audience through the rivalry, jeopardy, drama, setbacks, challenges, failures, ambition. The game, the race, the tour, the league, the final, the result.
A concept driver at the heart of the identity package to travel back to the sporting past, join and enjoy current events, and travel to the future to speculate about sporting outcomes.
I joined Red Bee’s team from the project Pitch stage to Delivery, creating a motion theory concept and system capable of holding the core concept. I helped thinking, designing, leading the animation and creating broadcast toolkits. All the Match Graphics timeslice rigging was created by Jun Iwakawa.

MANORAMA NEWS
Agency - TWIN ASSOCIATES
Broadcast | Channel Branding
MY ROLE
Motion Theory & Motion System
Animation Lead | OSP | Toolkits
Designed for consuming news on the go, the motion system features a 'never sit still' modular layout that constantly evolves through a seamless digital experience, interwoven with a traditional broadcast heart. A fresh, UI-inspired motion framework built to keep content up to date.
I joined forces with Twin Associates, working under the creative direction of Amy Johnson and Ian Wormleighton to help create the Motion System for Manorama News. Designed as a responsive brand identity, it is a vibrant and agile system built for the modern viewer, embracing the clean aesthetic and structured logic of interface design.
Gone are the traditional, lengthy title sequences — replaced by dynamic ident stings and a meticulously crafted typographic layout. This evolved approach prioritises efficient communication, ensuring audiences can effortlessly consume information across various platforms.

TOOLKITS
Agency - Various
Motion Systems | Essential Graphics | Automation
MY ROLE
System Architecture | Technical Direction | Motion Design
Scripting | Ae Toolkits
The goal is simple: eliminate repetitive technical tasks so teams can focus on storytelling, delivering motion at scale.
Built from a deep understanding of the design system and brand guidelines, toolkits range from simple expressions, bespoke scripting, and Essential Graphics panels to custom Mogrts and more complex setups. Parameters like timing, typography, leadings, color palettes, margins and layouts are engineered to make asset creation agile and effortless.
A motion system is only as solid as its ability to deliver assets for a brand's everyday needs. Motion Toolkits connect brand principles and the motion system directly with daily production. When built precisely, they ensure brand guidelines stay right at the core.
Designing a toolkit isn't just about setting up After Effects files. It's about respecting the thought and effort behind every brand identity decision, and understanding how teams actually work. It requires a deep understanding of how other motion designers work, taking existing project files and rebuilding them into dynamic tools, while respecting every single pixel, frame, and ease curve. It’s about building modular controls that keep design intact across formats, making sure the brand behaves consistently once it lands in the real world.
